How can we help?

Answers for playing with friends, the Full Game, controls and privacy, and how to reach us when something does not work.

Contact us

Write to jan@zalsky.cz. Tell us which iPhone or iPad you play on, its iOS or iPadOS version and what happened, and we will get back to you.

Getting started

What do I need to play?

An iPhone with iOS 26 or an iPad with iPadOS 26 or later. The game is not on the App Store yet; you can join the beta list.

Where do I learn the controls?

Open Tutorial in the main menu. Its eight lessons go from moving and jumping through digging, the ninja rope, shooting, crates and levelling up to your creature’s ability, and end with a duel against a bot.

Playing with friends

My friends cannot see my game.
  • Keep Wi-Fi switched on on every device. You do not have to join a network: nearby devices can also connect straight to each other.
  • Allow the game to find devices on your local network: Settings › Privacy & Security › Local Network › Compost Mortem.
  • Stay close together. Without a shared network, devices connect over a direct wireless link with a short range.
  • Some guest, hotel and school networks keep devices from seeing each other. Leave that network (keep Wi-Fi on) and the devices connect directly.
It says the host runs a newer or older version.

Everyone in a match needs the same version of the game. Update every device from the App Store and try again.

How many can play, and can friends join later?

Up to 8 players in one match, bots included, each on their own iPhone or iPad. Friends can join a match that has already started, and bots fill the empty seats.

The Full Game

I bought the Full Game, but it is not unlocked.

Tap Full Game in the main menu, then Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with.

Can my family use it?

Yes. The Full Game supports Family Sharing: once you have bought it, the members of your family group get it on their iPhones and iPads too.

Why does a match not have all the content?

A match has what every player in it owns. If one player has only the free game, everyone plays with the free content, so nobody brings anything the others cannot have. Bots never limit a match.

How do I get a refund?

Apple handles all payments, so refunds go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Controls and performance

Can I use a controller or a keyboard?

Yes. Besides touch, the game supports game controllers, and a keyboard and mouse on iPad. You can remap the keys in Settings › Controls.

The game runs slowly or the device gets warm.

Lower the quality in Settings › Graphics, and close other apps. Low Power Mode also slows the game down.

Privacy

What does the game send, and how do I turn it off?

The game has no accounts and no ads. It sends anonymous usage statistics so we can see how it is played; switch them off in the game’s Settings › Privacy › Share anonymous usage data. The privacy notice has the details.
